Hey, my name is Brock and I love dinosaurs! I created this blog so I could have someone to whom I could share my thoughts and feelings about the gentle giants of our past.

But don't feel like we can only talk about prehistoric creaturs. I also enjoy dungeons and dragons, Starwars, Star Trek, Battle Star Galactica, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and anything that has to do with magical rings, distant planets populated with big blue people and Hermione Granger.

So feel free to indulge yourself in my interests and become my new friend. It's sometimes hard to find friends here in my home town but hopefully the internet will reach far and wide enough that I will find you and you will find me.

Match Made in Heaven (Stevens Henager)

I want everyone to welcome my newest friend to our group. We met at Totally Awesome Computers the other day. I overheard him asking for a computer that had a battery life span of roughly the time it takes to conquer a moderate to difficult dungeon in World of Warcraft. Lucky for him, he met me! I told him that Stevens Henager collage will give him a laptop of just that quality. Needless to say he enrolled that same day and now we are both preparing for a brighter future today.

However I don't see him much because he had to take a second job to pay the Steven Henagers student enrollment fees. I don't know why but those fees sure did go up a little while ago. Almost as much as it coasts for a new laptop. Weird...

At least he always makes time between jobs to join my World of Warcraft clan and conquer a dungeon or two. That never gets old. Heck, we have conquered one dungeon in particular 17 times. Me and Jockslayer make a good team. Jockslayer is his gaming name. I call him that because I don't know his real name. And even if I did I would still call him Jockslayer because that name is sooo cool! I asked him once while video chatting during a campaign how he came up with that name and he just started muttering incoherently. The only word I could pick up was "someday."

Genie Advice

If I ever met a genie, I’d wish for never ending wishes. Aladdin was stupid! Freeing a genie is probably the worst thing you can do. That and asking a lady if she’s pregnant without already knowing the answer for sure

…I’m not allowed back at Martha’s Crafts Hobbies.

Before Denis Disappeared

Here is more of my old buddies. The boy in the green is my cousin Lane and the boy in the blue is Sam, he was my neighbor. Denis, the guy in the middle holding the impressive fossilized Maxilla was both my tutor and mentor. I will never forget the last time I saw him. He told me, "Brock, you have a lot of spirit. You remind me of myself at your age. One day you're going to going to be an amazing paleontologist like me. Except a real one." He could have been a paleontologist if he wanted too. He just thought attending "Universities" and going on "digs" were a waist of time. So instead he spent his days and nights finding the real secrets to the past from the only reliable source one can count on these days. The Internet. I learned more from Denis than any other unemployed middle aged man. I miss him soooo much! If only he didn't decode that secret message the government was putting out on the nets about dinosaur smuggling and Jurassic Park being real he would still be here with me. I also miss Sam, he disappeared about the same time too...

Why didn’t Parada think of this!

Can I just say that this is the best idea for a shirt that I have ever seen! I've already ordered three of them with over night shipping. I'll get them just in time to wear one on my first blind date. Actually it will be my first date. That is if you don't count all dates my mom took me on...

Can you imagine how awesome it will be when my date opens her front door to see a live dinosaur on her porch trying to eat her! I wonder how long it will take her to realize the the Dino on her porch will in fact be only me using my elbows as massive jaws. I think it will be a good ice breaker. My dating life is really going to pick up as soon as these shirts arrive.

Face book Junkies

This is my best bud, Zack! He is just shooting the breeze on Facebook. Me and him tend to to that more often then not. In fact, I don't think we have ever had a conversation that wasn't through wall posts. But I think its better that way. There is no awkward silences or eye contact. And we can't see each other sweat or hear our voices crack when we get to nervous or exited about our conversations.

The GF

This is my GF. Yeah, I know she is not much to look at but at least she likes dinosaurs like me. But I cant believe that she thought her shirt was cute, I just think it's a disgrace to Dinosaurs everywhere. When the Tyrannosaurus Rex rawred at his prey, HE WAS NOT SAYING "I LOVE YOUR" IN DINOSAUR! Seriously, sometimes this girl bugs me sooo much. I think I'll just dump her, then maybe I'll have more time for D&D. (that's Dungeons and Dragons for those who are unfamiliar the fantasy world)
