Hey, my name is Brock and I love dinosaurs! I created this blog so I could have someone to whom I could share my thoughts and feelings about the gentle giants of our past.

But don't feel like we can only talk about prehistoric creaturs. I also enjoy dungeons and dragons, Starwars, Star Trek, Battle Star Galactica, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and anything that has to do with magical rings, distant planets populated with big blue people and Hermione Granger.

So feel free to indulge yourself in my interests and become my new friend. It's sometimes hard to find friends here in my home town but hopefully the internet will reach far and wide enough that I will find you and you will find me.

Just a kool picture

Arriba! Arriba!

Oh… How I wish the triceratops actually lived in modern day Spain where he could face the matadors in the traditional carrida de torros. Or should I say corrida de dinos. Even though the triceratops is a herbivore, the bull fighter wouldn't stand a chance. World renowned paleontologist Dr Lafario suggests, and I agree, that the triceratops can have quite a temper. Especially when worked up by Spaniards in red tights.

Mr. Conductor, Where’s the train?

Its been a while sense my last post. Recently I've been going to school at Stevens Henager Collage and I learned how to use photo shop. This fine piece was inspired by my interest in dinosaurs and the industrial revolution. It might be categorized as unrealism due to the undeniable fact that a T-Rex could never operate a train. He has no Thumbs! But if he could I'd like to see Bonnie and Clyde high-jack this train.

Missile Rex

I think the reason I put this picture in my blog goes unsaid. Nothing is cooler than a Tyrannosaurus Rex dodging heat guided missiles. Little does the missile launching fool know, THE TYRANNOSAURUS REX IS COLD BLOODED! Good luck hitting him buddy!!!

Soon to be first place T-rex drawing

Here is a picture I've been working on for the past month. I was thinking about entering it in an art competition here at the university but the dean of the college of fine art had a better Idea. He said not to waist their time and instead enter this picture in Ogden's Dinosaur park/children's museum drawing contest. If I win I get a free season pass!

My father and dinosaur sensei

Here's daddy!

...he doesn't like it when I sneak up on him with a camera while he's working.

In fact, he doesn't like most of the things I do...

Stained Glass Dino Art

I'm actually big into art so when I saw this amazing stain glass window piece of these two Iguanodons I just had to have it. And no, I don't think $2,000 was a bit much. I don't care what my parents say, when you walk in my room and get that first glimpse of morning light beaming threw this window it takes your breath away.

It did mine

My green dinosaur friend

When I was 13 my uncle took me to Dino World. Here is a picture of me (left of the dinosaur) and my cousins waiting in line for the volcano coaster. It was really great hanging out with this green dinosaur. I actually felt like a had a friend, but not only that, I felt as though I was like all the other boys that play sports in my school. Yeah, because our school's coach always slaps the sport player's bums as they headed onto the field ...but I never got that. I don't know why but I had always felt this void in my life for the lack of bum slapping approval given by adult leaders. Well I guess what I'm trying to say is that void was filled that night with this here green dinosaur. And not only did he give a quick slap, he held on for a good thirty seconds while we tried to get a decent picture taken.

USE THE FORCE!

That's right, this melon has become the most powerful space station that has ever existed. You can only imagine how thrilled I was when my mother had this made more my 17th birthday party. The only thing I like more then large fruit carved to look like an antagonist space station in one of the greatest films of all time is a real space station. But I won't get one of those until I become super rich from inventing the light saber. So the melon station is fine for right now. Best birthday ever!

Dynamite Dinosaurs

Ok, here are some dynamite dino pics. I like the duck bill pic on the left because it looks sooo life like. When I first saw this picture I honestly thought the Jurassic Park scientist were successful in cloning dinosaurs from frog DNA.

The sharp tooth on the right is also one of my favorites. I named him slash! Whenever I fantasize that Dinotopia is real, I picture this dinosaur as my pet that I would ride to school. I'd like to see the football team call me a turd and stick my head in the toilet when I come riding up on that bad boy.
